Womens Organisation

Enterprise Rotation – The Women’s Organisation’s Enterprise Rotation project specifically targets those women who require most help to gain or regain their economic independence, the project is specifically targeted at those who require most help to gain or regain their economic independence:

  • Lone parents
  • Women returners
  • Ex-offenders
  • People for whom a disability or long term illness is preventing their economic participation disability or long termillness (especially mental ill health) is preventing their economic participation.

The Women’s Organisation provides support to women who may be considering self employment, helping to build their confidence, explore their ideas and develop the skills to start and grow their own businesses. The project provides personal and enterprise development support through information, advice and training.  Building on established links with existing women owned businesses and social enterprises The Women’s Organisation will connect women with opportunities to receive ‘real life experience’

Personal development training will help improve the skills and confidence of women, empowering them to compete effectively in the labour market and increasing access to employment and self-employment opportunities. One to one support  will help individuals to explore the underlying principles of becoming self- employed and apply them to improve the economic environment for competitiveness and employment.
