Why is Working Better so important?
It will track the effect of individual projects and partnership working across sectors and with specific client groups more than has ever been done before. This Action Research will be extremely relevant to the future development of government policy trans-nationally and the Merseyside Multi-Area Agreement regionally.
The project will enhance and support the goals and outputs of the Merseyside City Employment Strategy, and any future Fit for Work programme, and has been developed with the support of the CES Board. It is also in line with the Merseyside Action Plan (sub-regional strategy and supports the individual Employment Strategies of the Merseyside Local Authorities.
